A ¾″ HDPE firewall mount that suspends your Garmin LiveScope black box safely above the kayak floor — protected from standing water, secured for the long haul.
Standing water in a Hobie ProAngler cockpit is inevitable. Your LiveScope black box doesn’t have to sit in it.
Machined specifically for the Hobie ProAngler series to keep your Garmin LiveScope black box elevated, secure, and out of harm’s way.
The Hobie ProAngler cockpit is a wet environment — it’s just the nature of the platform. The Garmin LiveScope black box sitting on the floor is a liability every time you launch. This ¾″ HDPE firewall mount suspends the black box off the cockpit floor and against the forward bulkhead, keeping it secure, accessible, and dry.
CNC machined to fit the ProAngler’s existing interior geometry. Mounts using the included U-bolt hardware — no drilling into your hull required. The precision-cut oval and round relief patterns reduce weight without sacrificing rigidity, and leave access points for cable routing.
Precision matched to the ProAngler hull. The bottom profile of the plate is CNC cut to exactly match the contour of the Hobie ProAngler hull interior — no pinch points, no rattles, no shimming. It drops in and sits flush. That’s it. No fuss.
Works with all Garmin LiveScope black box versions. The mounting footprint accommodates the standard LiveScope box dimensions with room for secure fastening on all four corners.
ⓘ Includes U-bolt mounting hardware. Garmin LiveScope system not included.
Arrives with U-bolt mounting hardware for a complete install. Garmin LiveScope black box and all electronics not included.
Hobie ProAngler kayaks are built to fish hard — and that means water in the cockpit. A Garmin LiveScope system runs $1,500 or more. Leaving that black box on the floor and exposed to every splash, wave wash, and wet gear pile you bring aboard isn’t a risk worth taking.
Suspends the black box above the cockpit floor against the forward bulkhead — out of standing water and away from foot traffic and gear.
¾″ HDPE won’t flex, crack, or degrade in UV and saltwater. The same material trusted in marine applications for decades.
U-bolt hardware mounts to the existing ProAngler interior structure. Your hull stays intact — no penetrations, no voided warranty.
The bottom profile is CNC cut to exactly match the Hobie ProAngler hull contour. No pinch points, no rattles, no shimming required. It drops in and sits flush — that’s it.
Precision-cut relief patterns provide natural cable routing paths so your LiveScope wiring stays organized and accessible.
Machined for the Hobie ProAngler interior geometry. Fits all production years across the full ProAngler lineup.
The U-bolt hardware works with the ProAngler’s existing interior structure. No special tools required.
Place the HDPE firewall plate against the forward bulkhead inside the ProAngler cockpit. Confirm the black box mounting holes align with your LiveScope unit.
Route the included U-bolts through the plate and around the existing interior structure. Hand-tighten to position, then snug with a wrench.
Fasten your Garmin LiveScope black box directly to the plate using the existing mounting screws on the unit. Route cables through the relief cutouts.
Your black box is now elevated, secured, and protected. Fish hard — the mount handles whatever the water throws at you.
