Precision HDPE mounting plates engineered for the Bonafide XTR 130. Eliminate hull flex under trolling motor load without drilling a single hole in your hull.
Hull flex is real — especially in Florida summers. Rip Lip Co. solves it without touching your hull.
Every component is CNC machined from high-density polyethylene and designed to solve a real problem on the water — not invented to fill a catalog page.
Machined from ¾″ high-density HDPE, this plate spans the bow and distributes trolling motor load across the Bonafide XTR 130’s existing factory mount points and T-track system. The result: zero hull flex under sustained motor load — even in summer heat when hull material softens.
No drilling into your hull. No voided warranty concerns. Includes a CNC-machined wiring relief cut to keep your motor and transducer cables routed clean without pinching. Includes all T-track mounting hardware needed for a complete install. Confirmed compatible with Garmin Force.
A blank canvas for your build. The plate ships ready to mount — what you do with it is up to you. Anglers have used the platform to run the largest trolling motors on the market, nav lights, cameras, transducer mounts, and more. The solid HDPE surface drills, taps, and accepts hardware cleanly, so your rig stays as dialed as you want it.
ⓘ Includes T-track mounting hardware. Trolling motor, lights, cameras, and accessories not included.
Solid HDPE accepts any hardware — run the biggest trolling motor on the market, add nav lights, cameras, transducers, rod holders. Includes all T-track mounting hardware needed for installation. Motor, lights & accessories not included.
HDPE hulls are designed to flex — that’s what makes them durable. But under sustained trolling motor load, especially in Florida summer heat when plastics soften, that same flex becomes a structural liability that wears on your mount points over time.
¾″ HDPE plate spans the mounting surface, preventing point-load flex when the motor torques against the hull in current or at speed.
Mounts entirely through existing Bonafide factory hardware and T-track channels — your hull stays intact, warranty intact.
UV stable, corrosion proof, and chemically inert in salt and fresh water. The same material used in marine cutting boards and boat components.
Machined to the exact Bonafide XTR 130 bow profile. Slots into position cleanly — no trimming, drilling, or guesswork.
CNC-machined passthrough keeps motor and transducer cables routed clean — no zip-tie hacks, no cables pinched under the plate.
No injection molds. No outsourced manufacturing. Every plate is cut from solid ¾″ HDPE stock on a CNC router right here in Orlando, Florida.
Solid stock, not laminate. Cut from a single piece of ¾″ HDPE — no layers to delaminate, no weak points under sustained load.
Precision tolerances. CNC routing holds the tight tolerances needed for a direct-fit to Bonafide’s factory mount locations — no slop, no shimming.
Made to order. Each plate is cut when you order it, not pulled from a warehouse shelf. You’re getting a fresh-cut component every time.
Built by an angler in Orlando, FL. Designed, machined, and tested by someone who runs the same rig on Florida water. Not engineered in a boardroom.
Every plate is machined to a specific hull and mount configuration. Don’t see your kayak? Reach out — we expand the fit list based on demand.
If you can run a bolt through a T-track, you can install this plate. Everything mounts to hardware already on your kayak.
Back out the factory Bonafide mount bolts from the bow anchor points. Set them aside — you’ll reuse them.
Position the HDPE plate over the factory mount locations. Slots align to the existing T-track channels with no cutting or drilling.
Run factory hardware back through the plate into the Bonafide mount points. Torque to spec — the plate handles the rest.
Attach your trolling motor to the plate using its standard bracket. The hull stays flat regardless of load or water temperature.
Ask about fit for your specific rig, bulk orders, or custom machining. Built by an angler, for anglers — we answer our own messages.
Typically within 24 hours. Longer if the bite is good.
